Our Response to COVID – 19

Vaccine Information 

We are now offering the Pfizer vaccine to our established patients 6mo of age and older. Please call our office at 831-422-9001 to schedule an appointment.

Corona Virus Specific Precautions

RLPG provides COVID testing in-office, both antigen & rapid tests. You may be asked to make an appointment to be assessed by a doctor first, depending on the symptoms. Please call our office at 831-422-9001 to schedule an appointment.

General Precautions for Reducing Risk

We encourage mask use for parents & patients over 2 years old, particularly if having respiratory symptoms. Our staff routinely uses all approriate hygiene & cleaning measures for control of any contagious disease.

Well Child Check-Ups

We will still be seeing patients of all ages for well checks. Routine vaccines are still very important for the health and safety of your child and developmental screening is important at all ages.

Telehealth or Phone Visits

For certain issues, we may be able to complete a TeleHealth visit, or visit over the phone, instead of in-person. If your appointment sounds like something that would qualify for that kind of service, you will be offered a phone visit time. You may submit any photos to telehealth@rlpeds.com to provide your pediatrician with a more comprehensive evaluation.

These visits would be billed to your insurance just as an in-person visit would be; co-pays and/or deductibles still apply. 

To be prepared for this type of visit we ask a few things: We will need the call back number and we will need you to be at that phone at the time of the “appointment”. Your child must be physically present during this call, unless you have been instructed otherwise.
